There's very little discussion even that I can find.I think its worth it just for the tempo track. Samplitude has been a first rate offering for a long, long time (and Sequoia sits atop an even loftier peak that I gaze up wistfully at every now and then) -but it seems the company has wandered off the tracks or has a couple of wheels loose. This all really pains me, as I was using Samplitude happily back in my Commodore Amiga days in the 90's and also got very excited when they announced they'd be porting to Mac (which they ended up not doing, of course). Hard drive space: 20 GB for Samplitude Pro X3, 90 GB for Samplitude Pro X3 Suite. RAM: 2 GB (32-bit), 4 GB (64-bit) Graphics card: Onboard, minimum resolution 1024 x 768. There's very little discussion even that I can find. The technical data for your computer can be found in the control panel of your operating system.
Seems overly pricey to me for what you get (I have the full versions of all their included iZotope and Melodyne add-ons, and while the included sample content is very good, it doesn't compare to what I have and make use of). I'm hunting around for discussion on Pro X 4 Suite (which I have) vs the upgrade. IZotope RX 7 Elements & Ozone 9 Elements for restoration & masteringĢ2 virtual instruments (11 new) plus 70 GB Independence Library

If they do come out with X4 not too far down the road.you have an inexpensive upgrade path from X3. I've paid $200 just to do an upgrade from a preexisting version. In all the years I've been with Samplitude.this is the biggest deal they have ever offered, and it's for a full version, not an upgrade.
With X3 I am pretty sure they did away with the Codemeter (I'm going to find out when I get X3 installed).so it's done with serial numbers.but I know other guys on the Samplitude forum have mentioned multiple installs.Īnyway.everyone is going nuts on the Samplitude forum.because this is such a crazy deal. My ProX 1 & 2 are like that (though I can also activate them without the dongle). Now in the past, they used a Codemeter stick/dongle, and you moved that from machine to machine. I also believe you can have multiple activations of it on multiple machines. This is a FULL install.so if you have a previous version (like I do) this would be a second install. They were extra $$ in the past.now they are included. I've been using Birdline skins for a bunch of years.they look really good. Oh.with X3 they also have Melodyne.and you get the Birdline skins for X3. The sale gets you ProX 3 Suite, plus the Spectral Layers and iZotope extras, and the Suite version includes a bunch of their virtual us now they also include Sound Forge, since they now own it. I've been using Samplitude for over 15 years now.
